IBA is the longest-running business college in Pakistan. It was established around 1955 and was jointly owned by two universities: the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Southern California, with faculty and administrative support for the first five years of the University of Pennsylvania and the subsequent five years being provided by the University of Southern California. Since its inception, it has maintained its status of being a top university for business education in Pakistan and expanding into areas other than business administration.
The Institute offers a wide range of academic programs at graduate, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels with an emphasis on management sciences, economics, finance, accounting, marketing, and human resource development.
